CHILDREN'S MINISTRY AT FLAT BRANCH
All of God's children are precious to us, and we seek diligently to introduce them to Jesus, and to help them grow and enjoy life together. We are blessed with many children within our church, and many from the community that join with us for our special events like our annual Vacation Bible School. We have many programs throughout the year that teach children the Bible, God's love in Jesus, how to love each other, and how to understand the world. These include Children's Sermons in every worship service, Vacation Bible School every June, Easter programs, Advent Crafts Workshop, Family Fun Day in August, Fall Fest in October, Joy Club on Wednesday afternoons, and Sunday School each week. Here are just a few pitures to show you the emphasis we put in teaching our children every day, week, and year.
JOY CLUB CHILDREN'S MINISTRY MEETS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS AT 5:00!
A big highlight of our week is our Joy Club Children's Ministry! JOY stands for "Jesus - Others - Yourself" and is a great summary of the Christian life. Each meeting consists of a big welcome, music and singing, Bible lesson, brief snack, and a craft or playground time. Dr. Mike helps with the program, as do many parents and other leaders. Parents are welcome to volunteer or provide snacks for a week! All area children from Pre-K through elementary age are invited to join us. Call the church at (910) 893-8578 if you would like more information, or check out our monthly newsletters for regular updates. For 2018 we will be doing an overview of basic Old Testament stories using the great Action Bible Curriculum.

We Are Home!
The Flat Branch community is pleased to announce that our Church is in the home stretch of return to our customary Spiritual Life and Social Engagement. Last Sunday, we came together for Sunday Service in our beautiful Sanctuary and we plan to continue worshipping there on Sundays. Congregants will continue to be asked to observe the rules of social distancing and use only those pews which are not roped off. In addition, at the conclusion of the Service, the Congregation will be asked to leave by rows to avoid a bottleneck at the Sanctuary doors. We are also asking that all Congregants wear masks while in the Sanctuary. By observing these few restrictions, we hope to keep everyone safe and healthy. Any members of the Congregation who do not feel comfortable about attending the Service in the Sanctuary are welcome to remain in their cars in the Church parking lot and listen to the Service on their car radios at 92.7 FM. We are privileged to welcome Rev. Meredith Riedel as our guest and minister for this week's Service. We look forward to seeing you all.
Printed Programs will be available in the Narthex as usual. A complete program is also available on the Sunday Bulletin (newly added) page of this website. You are welcome to copy and paste it into a document and print it for yourself or open it in your phone or other device so you will have it for the Service.
The Newsletter is available in the Narthex or you may read it online byBy going to the Newsletter Page on this website.
